Bulgarian Facility Management Association (BGFMA) and Facility Management Institute (FMI) http://www.fm-institute.com hosted the National Training and Information Workshop on the Employee Involvement in Facility Management Enterprises (EI for FM) project on 21 January 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria. Partner countries in the project are Spain, Italy, Hungary and Greece, representatives of professional organizations are also included. The project aims to promote activities designed to explore and prepare the establishment of a European Society (SE) or a European Cooperative Society (SCE) in the service sector, and in particular with the involvement of companies active in the field of Facility Management (FM)
The participants in the National Training and Information Workshop discussed the industrial relations in Bulgaria and the European Union as well as the European directives and trends with establishing such enterprises. Mr. Goran Milanov – Chairman at BGFMA and Vice-Chairman at EUROFM, together with Mr. Teodor Dechev of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, and Mr. Enrico Libera of Scuola Nazionale Servizi, discussed the progress of the project and other similar current projects which will facilitate different branches of the European and our economy.
“The specific focus of the project is the necessary arrangement to establish structures and procedures for workers information, consultation and participation in the management in the context of such new European Society or a European Cooperative Society. We are very happy that BGFMA is an active mover in such processes and contributes to establish such also in Bulgaria.”, said Goran Milanov.
